JH-501 Welding Flux

JH-501 is a type of Al and Ti based agglomerated flux,the basicity of which is 0.5-0.8(acidic), gray spherical grains in appearance.Its grain size is 2.0--0.28mm(10--60meshes). JH-501 is suitable for use with AC or DC power, filler wires connect with positive electrode while in DC.With stable burning arc,the flux provides good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal. Additional feathers are high resistance to stomata and sensitivity towards small scale of rust and mill scale.the loose specific gravity of flux is small and fusion quantity is less.

Combining with appropriate wires, it can weld low carbon steel and some low alloy steels, such as ships, boilers, pressure vessels, etc. It can also be used for multi- wire fast welding. Especially suitable for double-sided single pass welding, pipe joints, fillet welds and other positions
